Radio Programs

We even have several fine radio stations to select from that play old-time and bluegrass music on a regular basis:

98.1 FM	WBRF	Galax	24 hour country format with lots of bluegrass and old-time music. Live broadcasts from the Rex Theater in Galax friday evening. They also broadcast the Mt. Airy and Galax fiddlers conventions.
740 AM	WPAQ	Mt. Airy	The granddaddy of old-time music radio. Live old-time and bluegrass every saturday. They also broadcast the Mt. Airy and Galax fiddlers conventions.
1430 AM	WKEX	Blacksburg	Mostly canned bluegrass music shows, but it's bluegrass and it's local!
89.1 FM	WVTF	Roanoke	Home of Back to the Blue Ridge, hosted by Kinny Rorrer and Seth Williamson, sundays at 2pm, with a rebroadcast saturdays at 6am.
90.7 FM	WUVT	Blacksburg	Virginia Tech alternative student radio station, with a very eclectic format that includes a couple of bluegrass shows on sundays.
