Internet Music

There are several resources for Old Time recordings on the web.

Probably the best is Honking Duck. James Reidy took the time to digitize a bunch of 78s of Old Time artists and make them available over the web as RealAudio files.

The Internet radio station hosted by Live365 called Rats Won't Stay Where There's Music plays a lot of good old time music as well.

For those who are just attempting to learn to play Old Time fiddle, Edward Hetzler has a great site called the Old Time MIDI Music Archive, which has MIDI files and musical notation for a very large number of traditional Old Time fiddle tunes.

For those interested in "World Old Time" (traditional musics across the world) Hober plays a very nice mixture of american and international roots music.
